Our core beliefs

Discover the foundational truths that guide New Harvest Outreach Ministry. We aim to clearly present our core beliefs in Christ, equip believers to grow in sound doctrine, and welcome seekers who want to understand the foundation of our faith.

What we believe

At New Harvest Outreach Ministry, our faith is centered on three core beliefs that shape everything we do:

Who God is: We believe in one eternal, all-powerful, all-knowing, and loving God who created everything. He is our heavenly Father, and His nature is revealed through His Word.

Who Jesus is and what He did: We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully divine and fully human. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross to atone for our sins, and rose again on the third day, conquering death. Through Him, we receive salvation and new life.

How we live because of that: Our belief in God and Jesus transforms how we live. We strive to follow Jesus' teachings, guided by the Holy Spirit, in every aspect of our lives – from our personal conduct to how we engage with our community. This faith inspires us to worship, serve, and share His love with others.

Guidance, comfort, and strength for daily life

When you’re facing daily challenges—work stress, family tension, big decisions, or just feeling stuck—beliefs only matter if they actually help you live it out. Here’s how core Christian teachings show up in real life:

Guidance: You’re not figuring life out alone
The belief that the Bible is God’s word and that God speaks gives you a filter for decisions. When you’re unsure about a job offer, a relationship, or how to handle conflict, you have a standard to check it against: “Does this line up with love, honesty, and what Jesus taught?” It cuts through noise and gives you clear direction instead of just guessing.

Comfort: You’re not carrying it all yourself
The belief that God is a Father who sees you, and that Jesus understands suffering, changes how you handle hard seasons. When you lose a job, get bad news, or feel overwhelmed, you can bring it to God in prayer knowing you’re heard. As Psalm 34:18 reminds us, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted.”

Our unique emphasis

New Harvest Outreach Ministry has a special emphasis structured around three directions:

Upreach to God: Through worship, Biblical training, and Christian living, we strive to deepen our connection with God.

Inreach to members: We foster interactive fellowships and support programs to nurture and strengthen our church family.

Outreach to the community: We are committed to evangelism and providing practical life training to uplift and empower individuals in our community.

Our teaching focuses on “preaching the Gospel to save the lost” and “teaching God’s Holy Word to disciple believers.” A unique aspect is our emphasis on skill training and resource sharing to empower individuals in Ghana.

What we believe and how we live it

We believe God loves every person and has made a way for us to know Him through Jesus Christ. The Bible is God’s word, and it guides how we live, love, and make decisions. We believe Jesus died and rose again to forgive our sins and give us new life, and that the Holy Spirit helps us follow Him daily.

That’s not just what we say on Sunday — it shapes how we live the rest of the week.

We worship together to remind each other who God is and what He’s done. We meet in small groups to study the Bible, pray for each other, and do life honestly. We serve our community through practical outreach because we believe faith is meant to be lived out, not kept to ourselves.

No matter where you are in your faith, you’re welcome here. Our goal is simple: help people know Jesus, grow in Him, and make Him known.
